Day 16, #100happydays TSF’s Main Stage show was hilarious. Great job, everyone! My best friend @ohgollyagali has some serious acting chops.
The Mummy is getting a reboot that is set to be scheduled for release in April of 2016. I am so annoyed by Hollywood’s insistence on rebooting movies. I want original stories, not the same story I know and loved with better CGI. An argument can be made that rebooting films brings the story to a wider audience but in this day and age it isn’t hard to find the original movies. This reboot is making me feel aged, also. The first Mummy was released in 1999. What movies will be rebooted next? I’m sick of it. Diversify some more and feed me new stories.
See Also: the upcoming Poltergeist, Carrie, The Evil Dead, Footloose, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street.
"People don’t like her because it’s the making of her, right now. When she, sometime soon in the future, becomes this person that she’s been kind of building up to, for the past three seasons, now four, then people will really begin to root for her. I think even the audience doesn’t realize she’s such a dark horse. If she acted badass and tried to kill everyone there, she would be dead by now! She’s so intelligent, and I can’t stress that enough. Courtesy is a lady’s armor. She’s using her courtesy to deceive people, and she’s using her former self as a facade, and it works so much to her advantage, because people still think she’s this naive, vulnerable, little girl, and she’s really not. She knows exactly what she’s doing. She knows what game she’s playing! And no one else does. And she’s learned from the best — Cersei, Margaery, Tyrion, Littlefinger, even Joffrey. She’s learned so much from these people, and they don’t even realize it. They’re unwittingly feeding her to become this great kind of manipulator. King’s Landing can either make or break a person, and in Sansa’s case, it’s making her."
Day 15, #100happydays I am completing my final reading for this semester! It’s been a long one.
My boyfriend is Jewish so I have decided to try Passover this year. I bought Matzo (too much of it) but I didn’t realize there would be other restrictions like no corn, peas, lentils, soybeans, and peanuts. Those are the staples of my meals and I can’t cook :/. I’m going to try to go grocery shopping sometime this week.
I cannot contain my emotions about tonight’s episode of Game of Thrones.
THIS SHOW IS TOO GOOD.
Day 13, #100happydays soothing music. Who wants to watch Garden State with me?
