Bianca is leaving to Paris for a month tomorrow so Jennifer and I came over and we cooked a vegetarian friendly dinner since I limit them haha: veggie loaf (omfg so delicious), squash, and creamed spinach. Nom Nom Nom.
My grandma is taking me grocery shopping tomorrow because she too has realized that we’ve exhausted new vegetarian meal options at home. I know I want to buy
- hummus
- couscous
- Oikos yogurt
- whole wheat tortilla wraps
but I don’t know what else I should get :/. Any (healthy) suggestions? We’ve got a plethora of fruits in the house so that’s covered. We also have veggies (including lettuce), some Morningstar products, and beans.
Don’t you find it weird that the food group we’re told to eat the most of is something hunters and gatherers never ate?
Today’s breakfast: Veggie omelet (egg whites) inside a slice of whole wheat bread. Banana on the side. Soo yummy.
Mini oreo cookie cheesecakes

I feel so guilty when I eat foods that are unhealthy. I don’t really remember when this started, but I need help. I’m obsessed. I’d like to think about food as much as the average person and not as often as I do. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to express this to the leaders of the freshman fifteen research project. I need to get past this if I truly want to have a career in nutrition.
